TIYD exists to provide practical, evidence‑based therapy for parents, young people, and adults living with disability or psychosocial challenges. My focus is on real‑world strategies, clear insight, and therapeutic support that respects the everyday environments people live, learn, and work in.
You won't find vague reassurance here — or child‑direct, play‑based therapy.
Instead, you’ll find direct guidance, functional tools, and disability‑wise therapeutic support backed by more than a decade inside the NDIS system.
My therapeutic work supports:
Parents of children with disability
I don’t provide play‑based or child‑direct therapy.
Instead, I work with parents to build capacity, understand behaviour, create predictable routines, support emotional regulation, and collaborate effectively with educators and other providers.
Young People (12+)
Therapy for teens and young adults dealing with emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, identity issues, motivation, school refusal, or disability‑related stress.
Adults with psychosocial or disability-related challenges
Support for emotional distress, trauma‑impacted functioning, overwhelm, executive functioning issues, and navigating complex support environments.
My approach is structured, clear, and action‑focused. I draw from:
I focus on helping people understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next.
You’ll get direction, insight, and strategies that make sense for your life.
Together, we work toward improving daily life — whether that’s understanding behaviour, managing emotional load, building routines, reducing overwhelm, or navigating systems more effectively.
If you’re a parent, young person, or adult seeking grounded, practical therapy that makes a real difference, I’d welcome a conversation.
